SugarPea Designs -World CardMaking Day Sale-A-Bration

Happy Saturday and Happy World Cardmaking Day!!
We are having a weekend long SALE-A-BRATION over at the SugarPea Design Blog in honor of World Card Making Day and are offering 20% off with coupon code: WORLD15.
Of course I had to make a card using some SPD goodies.
I created this card using Prehistoric Pals & my Zig Clean Color brush markers. This is my first time using these markers and I just LOVE them. Thanks to all my SPD design team sisters for being enablers, I just had to have them. I applied marker dry and then sprayed with water and let colors blend.
I used my heat tool to dry. I then applied some water droplets and let sit for about 30sec and blotted up using a paper towel.
Of course this wouldn't be a proper celebration without a prize, join us for WCMD by making ANY themed card you'd like and link it up on the SPD blog for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate.
Our winner will be announced October 6th.

SugarPea Designs- CCC#5

Happy Monday everyone! It's time for another creative color challenge over at the SugarPea Design Blog.
This months colors just "Scream" Halloween and since it's my favorite holiday to make cards for, I figured why not create one and get ahead of the game.

Can you believe I did absolutely no coloring on this card.... This is a very rare occasion for me, but I love how this card turned out.
I cut a circle out of my card base and pattern overlay(placing a smaller circle die in the middle of the larger die created my frame for around the circle).
I then cut out two of each color of my bats, so I could place my twine in between them.
Taking some 3d foam tape I popped up my pattern overlay and then place my twined bats behind and adhered to card base.
I was going to use some clear fishing twine in place of the white but I didn't feel like destroying the craft room to find it lol. I will definitely re-create either this card or something like it  once I find it .
Pattern Papers:
Doodlebug Design- Ghouls & Goodies
Crate Paper: After Dark
DCWV: Spooky Delight
Enamel Dots: Doodlebug Designs
We would love to see your creations, be sure to link them up over at the SPD blog.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

SugarPea Designs SPDSS30

Hello and Happy Monday! Hope you all had an amazing weekend :) I hope this week goes by really slow, as it's my last week of maternity leave. These last 5 weeks have gone by way to fast and I am not ready to go back to work. It's been so nice being able to be home with my two boys, but duty calls as do the bills. Today, I am going to share a card with you all that I made for the new sugar sketch challenge over at the SugarPea Design blog.
I used the new, Eek-A-Boo stamp set and put my sweet little ghost on an action wobble.
